Heath Nisbett is an acoustic guitarist that specializes in classical, flamenco, and fingerstyle. His very pleasant and soft edged style of guitar playing makes him a perfect addition to many cafes, restaurants, galleries, and private events.

Heath has studied classical guitar with Ricardo Iznaola and flamenco guitar with Rene' Heradia. He writes many of his own classical, flamenco, and folk pieces for guitar, including variations of other composers' music. Recently, he has been experimenting with mixing the styles of classical, flamenco, and folk guitar for an enchanting and unique sound.Heath's recording credits include his passionately original song Little Reason To Know on the compilation, NorthWest Passage CD featuring Heath Nisbett along with nine other artists. He also has done several recordings for the University of Colorado on classical guitar. The highlights of these sessions are Variations On A Theme of G.F. Handel by Mauro Giullani and Tarleton's Resurrection by John Dowland. He has recently finished his own self-titled CD ranging from instrumental classical and flamenco guitar to vocal folk rock.
Heath's performing credits include playing Club Passim, The Franklin Cultural Festival, Pour Richard's Wine, Seattle Folklife festival, and performs on a regular basis at First Universalist Society in Franklin.
